Villa Rio Chico
Location
Fourteen hectares directly on the sea, near Ocho Rios on the north coast. Two private white sand beaches on a sheltered shore belong to the estate. From Montego Bay airport it is around an hour and a half by car, or fifteen minutes by helicopter.
Manor House & cottages
The Manor House with six suites is the foundation of the estate. For larger groups, two cliff-side cottages can be added, one with two and one with four bedrooms, either or both. The estate thus grows from six to eight, ten or twelve suites, each air-conditioned and en suite. You share the estate with no one.
The Manor House
Six suites looking out over the gardens and their waterfalls, with an infinity pool, a gourmet kitchen and a dining pavilion. The Master Estate Suite has a king bed, its own dressing room, a balcony facing the tropical garden and a marble bathroom with steam shower and soaking tub. The White Boutique, Zen Suite and Retro Chic Suite face the sea with balconies of their own, some behind floor-to-ceiling glass doors. The Vintage Modern Suite adds a daybed and a separate sitting room, while the Champagne Bubble Suite has two queen beds and a terrace onto the garden and its fountain.
Four-bedroom cottage
The larger cottage stands on the cliff above the sea: a marble gallery, a lounge with bar, plenty of teak and natural stone. Each of its four suites has a terrace of its own with an outdoor soaking tub, three of them facing the sea. The Chain Suite opens straight onto the infinity pool, the Cubist Queen Suite has two queen beds, and the Hermes Suite and A Touch of Gold each have a king bed with a generous sitting area.
Two-bedroom cottage
The smaller cottage also sits by the sea, with indoors and outdoors flowing into one another. There is a large loggia for dining and a lounge with bar looking out to sea. Its two rooms, the Fabulous White Suite and the Geometrix Room, each have a king bed and their own bathroom and share a terrace facing the garden.
Things to do
Several pools, including a main pool with an infinity section above the cliff, a pool on the beach and a natural waterfall pool. Tennis court, half basketball court and gym, plus kayaks, snorkelling gear, windsurfing and sailing. For quieter days there is croquet, darts and a tropical garden with streams, bridges and ponds.
Service
A dedicated team looks after you around the clock: chef, butler, house manager, housekeepers, barman and gardeners. We arrange catering and activities to your wishes in advance, and green fees at the nearby golf course can be added.
